Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr

Rabbi Yehudah ben Shomeyr (Kris Shoemaker) was raised in a Christian Home and accepted the Messiah Yeshua at the tender age of six, and dedicated his life to full service for Him at age thirteen. From that point on Rabbi Yehudah has been involved in a multitude of various ministries from Churches and Synagogues to youth, street, camp, jail and nursing home ministries to name a few.

He is a graduate of the Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville Tennessee and has received his B.A. in Bible and Missions (1996), had his Hatafat Dam Brit (Jewish Conversion) preformed on him in 2004. He was ordained as a Rabbi in 2007 through Cutting Edge Ministries and Ha Derek Natsarim Yeshua by Rav YoshiYahu ben Shofar, and is currently perusing his training and ordination as a Rav under the tutelage of Rav Yoshi through Ha Derek Natsarim Yeshiva.

Rabbi Yehudah is currently Vice President of Ha Derek Natsari Yeshua (The Way of the Branch of Yeshua) the Modern Orthodox Jewish sect of Believers who believe and proclaim Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah. He is also President and Founder of A.D. International (Abraham’s Descendants International) the Missions agency of HDNY, which focuses its out reach, but does not limit its outreach to the 3 major monotheistic religions on the world, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Both Rabbi Yehudah and his wife discovered their Jewish Roots later in life, they made their return to Natsari Judaism fairly early on in their marriage.

Rabbi Yehudah is available for speaking engagements and seminars regarding the Jewish faith, holidays and customs, the Hebraic Roots of the Christian Faith, Torah Studies and much more.

RaYBaSH Ministries is a Branch of the Ministries of HaDerek Natsari Yeshua in conjunction with Pearl Road Synagogue of Cleveland Ohio and the Modern Orthodox Natsari Jewish Alliance.
